Water Damage, Roof Flashing and Roof Leak Repair
If you’ve experienced water damage in your home, this can leave a devastating mess. The worst thing is, as water travels quickly and easily, it is essential to identify the cause of the water leak before undertaking repairs. This is where we come in.
Our qualified builders will assess your home or commercial building and determine the cause of your roof leak, or where the water damage has come from. We will inspect all framing, flashing and gutters for any damage that could potentially cause further issues down the track.
As licensed builders, we understand how to deconstruct a home to get to the real source of the problem. This means, we don’t apply patches or band aid type fixes to your home.
Too many times we have seen home owners on the Gold Coast pay for temporary fixes that don’t address the source of the water leak. This ultimately leads to increased cost for home owners and increased damage to homes, as the water leak hasn’t been repaired correctly the first time.
We understand how frustrating this is as a home owner, and will ensure that the source of the water leak is repaired and your home is water tight and structurally sound. But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what one of our clients has to say:
Hope Island Box Gutter Leak
What you don’t see from the outside of this beautiful home, is the ceiling collapse on the inside. The leak was caused by a box gutter that had rusted out. On further inspection however, it was found that this box gutter had never been connected to the storm water drain during the original construction of the home.
To rectify this situation, we core drilled through 3 metres of concrete to connect the drain pipe to the stormwater, replaced the box guttering and fixed the blockwork wall.
Internal linings of the home were replaced and the home restored to an as new condition, with a very happy owner.
